 The Crabnet is proud to feature the original artwork and lithographs from
a select group of artists whose superb craftsmanship, dedication
to their art, and efforts on the behalf of conservation have, in
our opinion, earned a special place on our website for you to
enjoy their talent and hard work..
All lithographs sold at The Crabnet are produced in limited edition, each being signed and
numbered by the Artist. Original artwork is indicated, along with the art medium.
"Sold Out Prints"
If a print is labeled "Sold Out Edition," this
indicates that the Standard Edition is no longer available from
the artist. After the Standard Edition, an Artist Proof Edition
becomes available and is limited in release to 10% of the
Standard Edition count. For example, if the Standard Edition is
1500 prints, the Artist Proof Edition is 150 prints. Also, the
Artist Proof Edition is sold at a higher price than the Standard
Edition.
After both Editions are sold by the artist, The Crabnet then acquires
prints from other galleries or individuals. At this point,
prices are considerably higher than the Artist Proof Edition.
